Adding Brand Value to Madame Sunshine
We were approached by Willingham-based artisan food producer Salome Allsop , to help take her “Madame Sunshine” range of sauces and chutneys to the next level. This included professionally printed swing labels, cloth bags and a uniform to be proud of.
Madame Sunshine produces a wonderful range of vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free sauces and chutneys, all entirely handmade and packed with the love and attention of proper home cooked food.
Although originally from Ghana, Salome has been living just outside Cambridge for 12+years. She was recently diagnosed with a dairy intolerance, which led her to create the range of flavoursome sauces with all the influence of her home country.
Attending national food and drink festivals and speciality food shows all over the country to sell the authentic Ghanaian produce enables Salome and her staff to share the story of how Madame Sunshine came about, and entice onlookers to try the delicious range. Each of the jars and bottles is labelled with the corresponding sticker, but Salome wanted purchasers to go away with a little piece of her story.
From the supplied artwork we printed and delivered a quantity of 3000 swing labels, with an elastic tie supplied separately so the Madame Sunshine staff could finish the tags and adorn the bottles and jars when required.
We also produced 2,500 printed cotton shopper bags.
To reinforce the brand at the various food shows, we also produced 25 red t shirts with a reversed out version of the logo.
Brand value and sharing of a unique selling point is often the difference between a sale and just a polite smile. We’re delighted to have helped Salome to produce this range of branded corporate items and feel that the finishing touches have really added a great deal to the overall effect. Great person to work with. We can also vouch for how delicious these products are!
